Lamine Cissokho is a kora player born in Senegal. He is a descendant of well-know mandingo musicians, whose traditions date back to the14th century.
Lamine belongs to the elite among kora players. His music is a unique crossover between mandinka traditions, jazz, worldmusic and virtuosic improvisations.
